Hi, I try to see if I can help you.
@mdt was doing good and his best.
Now I don`t know why some of you keep using upgrade tools to
send a normal software. You should always use original uploader
which with some file it is attached Alum 58. I still use Alum 55.
This loader will read your chip before you send it and you can never miss or send a file that does not match.
Upgrade tools is for Cas data if you know what you are doing.
First thing to check is that you have selected the right com port. For instance the upgrade tool that @mdt have uploaded you when you unzip it it comes on com port 6 so you have to change it to comunicate with yours. Now at the moment use Alum55 or 58 and use one of the latest firms.
Check port and when you press connect and it is disabled again that means it is not finding your port. If when you press connect and this turns to cancel that means it is trying to connect and it is waitng for your stb to be switch on.
Try to check these for a Start.

AFTER LOADING THE LATEST 29C SOFTWARE FROM TANKO THIS EVENING, MY 3020 IR PLUS IS NOW TAKING ME STRAIGHT TO THE MENU WINDOW AND CANT READ THE ABRACADABRA CARD. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP OUT AND TELL ME WAHT AM SUPPOSED TO DO TO ACTIVATE THE ABRACADABRA CARD AND HAVE MY ART/JSC BACK.THANKS

OK, PRESS MENU FOLLOWED BY 2020 TO ACTIVATE CAS SYSTEM AND YOU ARE DONE!

1- Go to main menu (press menu in RCU)
2- Press 2 0 2 0 in the RCU
3- A popup message will appear CAS SYSTEM ENABLED
4- Emu module is working now
If still not fixed send in your receiver firmware of 31.03.2009, entered the abracadabra and wait receiver to read samrt card and then send latest firmware of 07.03.2010

Please any help my Echolink 3030ir plus the Removed control did not work, all the Numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,o also menu is not working, but if you press Exit boton its will show Menu on the tv screen.epg its will show number 4 digit.
Hope some One will help.

are sure your remote is working? To find out try operating your remote in front of your mobilephone camera.press the remote keys to see if it blinks ie telling you that your remote is ok.
