Is there anyway to decrypt all audio tracks of a PowerVu PMT at once? It seems like PowerVuEmu only decrypts the first audio PID in the PMT. Input appreciated.

Using TSReader with latest PowerVuEmu 3.8.1

It decrypts all audios, not only the first.
But not all at once.
And unless you have 4 to 6 audio cards in your pc,you cannot either.
How do you think all channels would be processed by a single audio output?
I only see commercial receivers with mutiple audio outputs.
In american sats, some trasponders carry music and sound effects separated from voice, you would need to mixdown this audios to get the complete broadcast, but also send stereo audio in one audio pid.
The only way is to have different audio outputs for each pid,but you don't have that in your pc,correct?

the reason I would like both decrypted when recording is of course to mix them myself to a 5.1 (or 4.1 whatever) track.

If you look closely to PVemu monitor window, you will see that when ECM is decrypted,it has all audio CW,basically, the means to decrypt all audios are there.
The point would be to see why second audio is not recorded decrypted, like in your case.

But the channel itself presents some curious things.
The first audio is stereo, and if intended to be 5.1,all the information would be embedded in this pid ,no need for a different pid.Is one of the features of AC3.
What's in the second pid?
Asking because when broadcasted 5.1 in different pids, stereo pid carry different things in each stereo channel, then other pid carry other stuff.
But the case is why is not decrypting the second pid for you,as it should.
Did you try older versions of PVemu and you had the same results?
It should record all pids decrypted, since the emu finds all needed CW.
Can you post monitor csa sample for this channel?

But mixing to 5.1 makes no sense to me unless second pid have audio data that is not present in first pid

I really don't know what the 2nd PID is, as I can't decrypt it, that's why I asked. I was hoping it might be the 5.1 track. the decrypted audio is 2.0.

this happens to all PowerVU channels for me that have multiple audio tracks. the MTV mux comes to mind too. That has 2 audio and only first one is decrypted. Luckily the first one is 5.1. Would be curious to see how the 2.0 sounds tho. (assuming that is the 2nd audio track).

Here's a paste of the Pvu window, yes I did try older versions, seems the same:

let me know if you need anything else. I can also do one for the MTV mux if you want.

Well,I wonder how you can't know what the other audio is,when you can select in the program (TSreader/VLC) which audio you want to listen to.
Select the channel audio you want to listen to and let us know what is in there.I mean live, not in the recording.

By the way,you can see it gets 4 different audio pids and their control words.I think the ECM contain more audio CW than what the channel carries.

the live audio doesn't work either. if I open in VLC, VLC just sees the 2nd audio as encrypted and won't play it.

Something must be wrong then with the combo TSreader/PVemu,since I am using dvbviewer and emu decrypt all audios,I can select second or third audio and decrypts it fine, also record all audios if needed to.

I suggest you learn how to build your own softcam, here in the forum you are shown and carried by the hand.

For 3920h just add your emmkey

P 9F9D2482 GROUP 0001 ; 3920H 058W
P 0001FFFF 00 00000000000000
P 0001FFFF 01 00000000000000

What is the "P 9F9D2482" and how do you get it?

You should read this link ..

And it refers to this specifically:

hash (4 bytes): Transponder hash calculated automatically by OSCam-Emu. Use debug level 2 to display it.

Already discussed in detail on this same topic should return a few posts back and read everything to not be repetitive

Ok. i'll check it out. Have you noticed any improvement over the old way? Like faster rolls or even channel switching? Since it makes the key file smaller.

Added
Is this the number we need from debug level 2? It says channel not transponder

(emu) channel hash: D3E3260C, group id: 0000

Yes, that's it.

The only way to make channels autoroll faster is to use multiple EMM keys,so a large spool will be cut in half if you use a low and middle number key,and a third of the time if you use a low, middle and high key.

There is no way from the emulator point of work to make faster roll.
Is also about how far apart the provider send the EMM spool,if they send spool onece a week, you'd only get the key once a week.

After a couple years of not trying this Mux :

I went to 103w 3925 GMA Network. I am running the current OSCAM Emu r11569 and I have updated softcam, and it did a ECM key update from the EMM

But........ I am just getting a BLACK screen. I know like the MTN mux, they are aggressive on keeping the security as strong as possible.
Is there someone that could shed more light?? Are they using a HASH mode that hasn't been updated yet? or is there some configuration update
I may need to do?

Thanks.

Anyone have working ECM/EMM on 125W for 4160H & 4080H? I seem to have everything else working fine but of all the various sources and .key files around I've never seen either of those.

Thanks in advance!!
