Openatv 4.2 softcam panel install issues ?

can anyone advise on what I doing wrong here ?

I am trying to get the softcam panel onto openatv 4.2 image but I cant seem to find it after rebooting ?

This is what I do ?
1. Install softcam-feed-mipsel_1.0_all.ipk to /var/volatile/tmp
2. long press blue button on remote.
3. install extensions
4. select tmp folder and put tick inot box for softcam-feed-mipsel_1.0_all.ipk
5. install completes with no errors
6. reboot box
7. where do I find the the softcam panel as I cant see it ?
8. when I go back into the extensions it states no files now it it to install ?


SO if anyone can help me install this I would be a happy man.

anyone no why that my azbox wont boot up past "vfd ready" when my internal hard rive is plugged in onto the boards power supply ?

I have to disconnect it at then it will bot normally.

I have placed a bigger DOM in to the azbox so would that have anything to do with it ?

its as if the DOM isn't getting enough power at boot up because the hard drive is taking it to spin up ?

its a 2gb DOM

any ideas
