Different LNB / Just change LO settings in receiver

ie

C-band 3.720 - 4.180 (GHz)

Ku-Band 10.700 -12.750 (GHz)

Ka-Band 17.700 – 31.000 (GHz) (Not sure of exact range/s, but something like!)

I was thinking of installing one for the 9°E Irish channels, but as there were only a few channels went for my C-Band expieriment!

Looking at the Ka Footprint for 7°E:

Looks like its worth adding! :D :)

got it

the LNB I got is ku-band type

L.O.Low Band is 9.75 GHz
L.O.High Band is 10.6 GHz

so it needs a special LNB made for receiving the a Ka-Band signal.

From what I've read, there's no one Ka band LNB which covers the whole range (approx. 18.2 - 22.2 Ghz).

This White Ka LNB is only for 19.7 - 20.2 Ghz, and apparently primarily designed for the Irish channels on 9° E.
