Plugin XBMCAddons - for running xbmc addons with enigma2

Please unzip and post the items in folder lib to :- /usr/lib/enigma2/python

And the addons to the plugin folder XBMC (like other addons).

CURRENT VERSION : XBMCAddons v.2.1

Install method :-
(1) Install software items.
(2) Install plugin XBMCAddons ipk.
(3) Unzip the attached xbmc addons (your choice !) and ftp to folder -

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/XBMCAddons/XBMC

(4) Use Settings to set your cache folder.
(5) When script modules are required - ftp to the XBMC folder (folder with the addons). In addition - ftp all the items in the script module lib folder (except LICENCE) to :-

/usr/lib/enigma2/python

Here is a little plugin for running xbmc addons on enigma2 images. Tested on the et9500 with the latest xtrend-alliance image.

New version XBMCAddons v.3.0 attached.

Now addons, script-modules and software can be installed on-line.

Select Addons in the first screen for options (see screenshot). After install - return to first screen and select Addons again.

BUG REPORTS :

If you have any problem - in first screen - select Debug -> 'Yes'. Exit plugin and telnet commands :-

init 4
killall -9 enigma2
enigma2>/tmp/e.log 2>&1 &

Start plugin again. When you have the error - copy the file /tmp/e.log - zip or rar it - and post here.

Please install all software in Install Software (see screenshot.jpg). Always
install the latest "update" item. After installing "update" item - Restart enigma.

[B]OE1.6 and images with python2.6:[/B]

Please install all software for OE1.6 - then reboot image.

[B]ADDON SETTINGS:[/B]

Addon settings are in addon folder /resources/settings.xml. Many settings are not useful for enigma2. But you may change language, country etc. Put your chosen settings in default=. But for type="labelenum", put your choice as the last in the values list.
