I have a few general questions.
I have searched for answers but i don't know how to start or what to choose.
So i would like from someone with knowledge to let me know!
The last time i used dvb was a lot of years back with my skystar 1,gbox etc.
Right now i own a few dvb cards and my goal is to share softcam keys from a server
to different clients.I don't care about card sharing.
My first step it to be able to watch channels using a softcam.key.
I'm going to use a TBS 6908 card.
a) Do i have to patch the kernel? Do i have to use a specific kernel ?
b) In order to watch via softcam.key i have heard that oscam is the best solution for server/client architecture.
c) Do i have to apply any plugins to the players?Xine?Mplayer?Kaffeine?Vdr?
Any info on vdr for example talks about past kernels and cards.
d)Suppose that i want to use dvblast in order to multicast a stream.
Is it possible to send it descrambled?Like patching the kernel in order to always apply a key(if found).
Let's say that i have solved this step and i can watch channels via softcam.key.
In order to share those keys to other pcs with different dvb cards,i must use oscam and configure
it as a client to my server?And of course i should apply some patch to my players?
I'm asking for any documentation that could help me achieve my goals.
