I have the vu duo 4K … should it not be an emulation bin file that has aarch64?

no the bin is ok for

edision os mio4K is the first real 64 bit box that's why i do not understand the whole thing
gorgone works exclusively for dreamOs (dreambox)
maybe that does not matter if you use this version

I tried also to install this version above...this binary file when extracted is much bigger in size when extracted {1.80 MB (1,892,880 bytes)} compared to an .ipk file when it is installed..also it would not start from softcam menu and had to be removed..

that's nonsense
that has nothing to do with the size of the ipk is indeed compressed as in a windows software which is synonymous larger after installation
the .bin will not be installed only replaced while the new .bin should get the name of the old version
