why new softcams doesn't work for x95?
I just install this softcams from "usb menu>software.
but all channels are still scrambled.
any thing more i must do for opening scrambled channel?
for example i install softcam of 21/02/2009 in 22th but all channel are still scrammbled.

please look the time in my posts.
i always write in my posts that this channel for example ok in DCW atm and atm= at this moment.
DCW is temporary keys for opening scrambled channels.from 5 minuts until 3 days.

i had problems with art, showtime,orbit. now i have
all 3 packages open. here is what i did :
1-turn off receiver on a FTA channel.
2-power off from the back button.
3-remove abracadabra
4-update with official software of 30/11/2008 using alimupg55
5-reboot/turn on
6-insert abracadabra. it will display :
updating smartcard KV....
7-when it finishes ,don't open any packages yet.
8-turn off receiver.
9-power off from the back button.
10-remove abracadabra
11-update with official software of 17/02/2009 using alimupg55
12-reboot/turn on
13-insert abracadabra. it will display :
updating smartcard KV....
14-when it finishes, don't open any package yet.
15-turn off receiver.
16-power off from the back button.
17-remove abracadabra
18-update with official software of 19/02/2009 using alimupg55
19-reboot/turn on
20-insert abracadabra. it will display :
updating smartcard KV....
21-when you see "Abracadabra detected", go to any ART
channel(aflam1 or aflam2 etc) wait a few minutes
to open.
22-go to a Showtime channel(showmovies1 or 2 etc...)
wait a few minutes to open.
23-go to any Orbit channel(super movies, boomerang etc...)
wait a few minutes to open.

you are welcome...
actually it is not a miracle. the idea is :
always read history.txt that is included with the firmware
and NEVER throw away previous working firmware, you may need it
sometimes.

hello Hardie,
you can use the official 05/12/2008 or 07/12/2008 or
14/12/2008 they all contain KV for Orbit, i tried them as well
but i found that the 30/11/2008 is a bit faster to update.
then flash with 17/2/2009 and finally the 19/2 firmware.
here is what you can do for showtime....after flashing
with the old firmware(from 2008) and the 17/2/2009,
go to ART channel and wait till it opens then flash with
the 19/02/2009 and autoupdate on showtime and finally Orbit.
btw, i have the official 30/11 for epsilon only(7300cu or equivalent),
i got it from the board here somewhere(i think in the echolink section).
