Triple Tuner SR4 Working with Cable Successfully.

I managed to scan 530 Channels and working fine on a triple tuner SR4.

I had to make my own satellites.xml and do a manual scan (I can share the file if anyone wants it? Took me a few hours to make lol

I just need some help setting up my other two satellites in advanced mode.

I have 28e & 30w connected to DVB-S via diseqc (both work on my VU+)

In advanced mode I set LNB 1 on the cable position I created in the custom satellites.xml and that works great. (Plugged in to DVB-C

Please can someone point me how to set LNB2 to use 28e & 30w connected to DVB-S via diseqc? (I've always had this set as simple and I choose A for 28e and B for 30w and works)

Thanks in advance!

So a switch for the 2 LNB

Configuration Mode = advanced
*Satellite = 28e
Voltage mode = Polarization
Tone mode = Band
*LNB = LNB 2
DiSEqC mode = 1.1
Tone-burst = None
Committed DiSEqC command = none
Fast DiSEqC = no
Sequence repeat = no
Command order = uncommitted, committed, toneburst
*Umcommitted DiSEqC command = Input 2
DiSEqC repeats = None
LOF = Universal LNB
Increased voltage = yes
Polarity = Auto

Configuration Mode = advanced
*Satellite = 30w
Voltage mode = Polarization
Tone mode = Band
*LNB = LNB 3
DiSEqC mode = 1.1
Tone-burst = None
Committed DiSEqC command = none
Fast DiSEqC = no
Sequence repeat = no
Command order = uncommitted, committed, toneburst
*Umcommitted DiSEqC command = Input 3
DiSEqC repeats = None
LOF = Universal LNB
Increased voltage = yes
Polarity = Auto

its very easy
first it depends (on your DiSEqC switch hardware) if you use plain DiSEqC 1.0 or DiSEqC 1.1
Ferret explained you the way with DiSEqC 1.1

Almost all people I know use DiSEqC 1.0 with 2 satellites, but it can vary...

if you use DiSEqC 1.0 (for up to 4 Satellites):

- advanced mode
- chose your satellite (in your case 28E or 30W)
- chose any LNB number (doenst matter which number, should only be used once, can be used twice if two satellite are really close ~1° gap)
- chose DiSEqC 1.0
- chose your DiSEqC 1.0 command/port (A, B, C or D)
- test
- done

if you use DiSEqC 1.1 (for up to 16 Satellites):

- advanced mode
- chose your satellite
- chose any LNB number
- chose DiSEqC 1.1
- chose your DiSEqC 1.1 command/port (1-16)
- test
- done

now you can even combine those two commands (DiSEqC 1.1 includes DiSEqC 1.0)
DiSEqC 1.1 combined with DiSEqC 1.0 for up to 64 Satellites:

- advanced mode
- chose your satellite
- chose any LNB number
- chose DiSEqC 1.1
- chose your port A,B,C or D (total 4 )
- chose your DiSEqC 1.1 command/port (total 16)
4 * 16 = 64 possibilities
- test
- done

just another info:
if you see the word "uncommitted" it stands for the DiSEqC 1.1 commands

Wow... Thanks manufact. Looks like I'm going to be busy this evening! I will see what works from all suggestions, so in the end I can swap between 28E or 30W on input DVB-S and also switch to DVB-C for cable.

Will let you guys know - Thanks:thum:
