500hd USB recording

Can anyone help

I have a 500HD. Is it possible to stick a pendrive in the USB slot and record tv programs on it

To add the bookmark try this

USB HDD must formatted and mounted in device manager.
press video twice
press menu
switch to file list and press ok
press ok on parent directory
scroll to list of storage devices press ok
should give you option
lower usb slot
usb
internal flash
at the bottom of screen should be green button to ok
new recording path

USB device on DM500HD

Hello everbody

i have a same problem on dreamelite 2.0 usb device not detected can any one tell me where is the problem and what ii should do

Thanks all for your feedback I will try it out and let you know. Under my usb slot in my 500HD it says SERVICE ONLY does this mean anything

remember you must remove the 1010 and 1011 resistors on the mainboard :)

yes some soldering work is needed before you can use a usb drive on the dm500hd. Beware... if you mess it up, thats it you screwed.
