Don't forget to type sync after decompression.
One of the best images is IscanMod, just tested the NightlyBuild-085 and had some crashes.
Afterwards you can still change your flash image to PGI (if you want to).

I've tried to FTP the E2 file to the usb but it still crashes even after closing DCC and turning the box off removing the usb and inserting it again once the channel is showing. I've tried 2 different usb sticks.
I'm using cuberevo r11694 in flash. E2 is release_085_cuberevo.tar.gz any suggestions

After you have formated usb stick etc -close down DCC & pull stick out of back
Reboot box -ok & standby so DGS based image loads
As soon as it loads to FTA channel push stick in back -Message should appear -USB device detected
Then open up DCC -& go to mnt , usb, usb0
Then ftp the zipped e2 file to usb0-this should take approx 40 secs
Under usb0 you should then have a file name such as 9000.tar.gz
then try reboot box as above & follow instructions to tar xvzf etc using telnet
It takes ages to load you should get loads of text on the telnet screen
Once its finished you will see cuberevo command prompt -type sync & enter & exit
Close down box & reboot - select number on remote to boot e2 -(assuming u have multiboot installed) again 1st boot can take about 3 mins

Finally I bought a Sandisk cruzer usb key and it works.
I tried both enigma2 0.8.5 and sifteam 0.7.5.

I have exact the same problem with newer E2 images running on my usb stick.
But with old images like Summerdream and sifteam extreme 5,5 there is no problem.
I can make full sat scanning and also getting my favorit list to work, but cant see decrypted channels and when I zap from one channel to another in favorit list my box crash.

I have Vodka 4 on the internal flash of CubeRevo 9000HD, and PKT 92 Enigma2 bakup installed with Ghost on a USB stick.
I can see it using DCC.
Installed a multiboot 133 on the internal flash with Flashtools many times.
It shows "Done" but without any luck.
I can only boot into the internal flash image.
Pushing 2 on remote control only shows "Booting" and nothing happens.
Any tips please.

Boot your ipbox without usb stick, than put usb (FTA chanel) and run telnet.
cd /tmp
mount # you will see mounted usb dev/sda1 or sdb1
umount /dev/sda1
mkfs.ext2 /dev/sda1 -L ext2
mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/usb #if you see mounted usb0 than mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/usb/usb0
#with ftp put your E2 in mnt/usb or mnt/usb/usb0
cd /mnt/usb # or cd /mnt/usb/usb0
ls -aln
tar xzvf yourE2.tar.gz
sync
sync
