How to use DB tool to edit your Channel List in X5 and X5 Super

1: First download the DB_Tool file and DB_Config file from here, and prepare your DBxxxx.bin file from receiver.

2. Run DB Tool.exe file, Use DVB-S2 HDSTB selection, and click OPEN select Config Files ( *.conf ) use DB_Config_20130730_with_Fav_Edit.conf

3. With this config file, it include FAV1~FAV8 edit function.

4. Now OPEN the DBxxxx.bin file to edit your channel list, after edit then save the bin file.

5. Now you can use Edit Channels->Load DB function to load your channel list from USB memory.

Note:

1. The file size of DBxxxx.bin file should be less 128K.

2. Save DB function will comes two bin file, pls use DB_Defalt(0000x).bin file to edit.

3. The following is the Max number of each items, see Config

1.update the new firmware from skybox.cc, dump the channel_info.xml to usb device from the SKYBOX.
2.edit the channel icon by this tool.
3.The bmp directory includes a standard format bmp file.
