Default Happy New Year (in this time of the year?)

What were you thinking when you were reading the title? You felt that probably the poster of this post is crazy!?

Yes, Happy New Year in this time of year!

Annually, Iranian people (also known as Persians) and in some other countries celebrate the New Year in March 20th and call it "Norouz". This word consists of two parts; the first part is "No" which means new and the second part "Rouz" means day. In general "Norouz" means new day.
.
Norouz is the name of the Iranian/Persian New Year in Iranian calendars and the corresponding traditional celebrations. Norouz is also widely referred to as the "Persian New Year". The UN's General Assembly in 2010 recognized the International Day of Norouz, describing it a spring festival of Persian origin which has been celebrated for over 3,000 years.
.
The term Norouz in writing first appeared in Persian records in the 2nd century AD, but it was also an important day during the time of the Achaemenids c. 548–330 BC), where kings from different nations under the Persian empire used to bring gifts to the Emperor, also called King of Kings (Shahanshah), of Persia on Norouz. The significance of Norouz in the Achaemenid Empire was such that the great Persian king Cambyses II's appointment as the king of Babylon was legitimized only after his participation in the New Year festival (Norouz).
.
Norouz marks the first day of spring and the beginning of the year in the Iranian calendar. It is celebrated on the day of the astronomical Northward equinox, which usually occurs on March 21 or the previous/following day depending on where it is observed . The moment the Sun crosses the celestial equator and equalizes night and day is calculated exactly every year and Iranian families gather together to observe the rituals.
.
I just would want to inform you that the earth (Northern hemisphere) is being entered into new season and New Year. We Iranians celebrate Norouz and make the best wishes for all people all over the world and say "Sal e No Mobarak", In Persian/Parsi (Happy New Year).

We are now in the first day of Spring!

Sal e No Mobarak!

BTW, Do you know the meaning of the word "Paradise"? Of course you do! The root of the word is a Persian word which is "Pardis".
.
In the upcoming years, Iran becomes the first tourist destination in the ME. The movie clip in below just depicts part of Iran's beauties and its capabilities that were under heavy shadow of politics for absorbing tourists.

Actually, New Year's Holidays last for 13 days in Iran. Day 13th is the day of nature as families, friends, and relatives meet each other out of city and have food and drink with each other.
