I have recently sold my technomate, cas3 and all cams and cards i owned and am currently looking for a linux box of some description. I am new to the linux boxes and would appreciate any advice on which one to get.
My first thoughts are to get a dreambox as this is the one i hear about the most. Are the clones as good or should i get the original (was looking at dm800 hd).
Last question i promise .. If i were to want to experiment opening channels (for educational purposes of course) would a linux box be and better than my technomate 5400ci super. I have a 1.1m dish on a motor and am currently serving with the british army in Germany. Thanks in advance for any help that is given. Glen
