Sky Italia launches kids app

Sky Italy has launched its own version of the Sky Kids app.
It follows the launch of similar apps for customers in the UK and Germany.
The mobile app is devised for children to take Sky Italia content with them on the go, without the need for an internet connection. Parents are able to make individual settings to ensure the kids don’t watch content they’d rather not let them see. This includes the ability to restrict programmes by age and even a shut off time for when it’s time for bed.
Several hundred programmes are available on demand, alongside additional games and characters familiar to Sky households.
Content is drawn from Disney Channel, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Baby TV.
The Sky Kids app is available at no extra cost to customers of the Sky Family package.
