i would edit this post but i cant.

it is indeed 400mhz, thought the dm800hd was 400mhz but its 300mhz. Hopefully this will mean faster boot time and maybe 720p/1080p .mkv playback.

so where is this box then, its not far off being the end of july now and dream haven't even announced the box on their website yet.

dm 500 hd will be on the market in the first part of october, according to oficials at Dream Multimedia!

Info from DMM:

Code: 
The DM500HD to come out in the first quarter of 2010. 
The processors are not the same as for the DM8000. 
Unfortunately, we still have no exact description of DM500HD. 
But they should soon be available.

ouch q1 2010:( Wonder if they will have cracked Nagra3 by then as uk is moving to nagra3 for cable within the next 2 months.
