use only one instance of oscam

I want to use oscam as both server and client on a e2 box

To do that i want to put oscam in both pmt and listening port mode. Can i do this?

Can I make enigma2 listen on port instead of tmp/camd.socket?

what is what you want to do?
what does oscam need to listen to in port mode?
You mention PMT,E2 reads PMT (among other tables) to find pid values and CA associated to build a channel.(from demux)
What E2 needs to listen to in port?
And why E2 needs to read both (camd.socket and port) at once?
Is hard to figure out what are you trying to do
