The Eurosport Group has extended its long-term partnership for the French Open and U.S. Open with the conclusion of two agreements. Brokered by MP & Silva, the agreement provides for the Roland Garros Eurosport coverage of three years, from 2012 until 2014. The agreement on the U.S. Open, concluded by IMG Media, Eurosport will allow the U.S. to broadcast the tournament until 2017.
The renewed contracts of both events include pan-European rights to live coverage on all platforms. Both tournaments will be covered by TV channels Eurosport and Eurosport 2, available on PCs and on mobile devices via the Eurosport Player, the subscription-based online service of the Eurosport Group, who will also direct access to multiple fields simultaneously (multi-court).
