5000 HD and TM6900

Hi Mark,
I have a CTech5000HD, excellent machine, no complaints as yet (2 months ownership;-) it does not interfere with either a stacked-up PVR (the rather feeble BT VISION one) or with a BT Hub and a TIMEMACHINE. I have also connected (serial) my old receiver ECHOSMART from CTECH5000HD in another room, slight loss of signal, but otherwise OK (of course both need to be on the same satellite;-)

rod, thanx for the feedback and yeah, I am only hearing positive reports about the CTech.
However, I understand that basically a TM6900 and the CTech5000 have the same "insides". So I really need a direct comparison between the two. I fear that if I buy the CTech, I will not be able to place it in the same room as the TM6900, if one remote can control both simultaneously
