you can submit info.. about cpu or flash no:

there are 3 unfitted connectors. 2 are 4 pins connectors, maybe at least one of them can be serial port.

There's also a 6 pins connector. It could be a jtag.
Any detail about the decoder?

Broadcom cpu, bbs tool locked !

if there spi flash 24 pins is easy for get dump from flash,:thum:
need info.. flash no: ?

you can use broadband studio for get dump,(win.. XP)
need msi7358 for flash dump,
all component is available,
i think bbs not locked,

Is this CA vendor Provider Box? if yes forget about it, its all locked BBS connector jtag won´t do s*** with broadband studio its all locked providers are not dump enough "or maybe not dumb enough to leave it open"


If this is a FTA non CA box , then surely BBS,UART port consoles will be enabled and yes you will be able to Dump flash with the normal BBS tool for jtag or via UART serial console port dump to external memory device ...

So all in all , good luck trying... its all i can say as surely most will not believe what i write and will be doing there own testing also to just confirm what i have said.

it not problem for skilled person to remove tsop flash even if it is glued to read it & back it on board but now all calc is done in cpu & keys are there too or some of them
