Satellite reciever recommendations Please

I am after recommendations for a satellite reciever.
At the moment I have dreambox 500s which is fine.
But now I want to go High Definition with a Hard Drive.

Any recommendations appreciated

Although I have two dishes & therefore two LNB's I only have one wire coming into the house, so, would I need the Duo or Solo?

hi jaykay if you buy the vu+duo or solo and a diseq switch you can make it work perfectly mate the two lnbs wire into the diseq switch then take 1 wire to either receiver and setup the tuner with simple diseq, hope this helps

Maybe I said that all wrong. At the moment I have two dishes on the roof but when they were installed, I gues, the installer has put some kind of joiner or something on the two cables on the roof as, when the cable gets to the house there is ony one which, at the moment, goes into the dreambox.

So, basically, is the DUO just for when you need to plug in two cables?

the duo is a twin tuner receiver you can either setup it up with the both tuners or as a single tuner.

Sorry but, is that to say then that if I only have one cable coming into the house then the Solo would suffice?

hi, i think duo is mostly for both terrestrial and satellite reception, instead of solo, only sat reception!
