put these line to your oscam.dvbapi

A: 2600::000A 2600:000000:000A #ERT1 (3E)
A: 2600::0014 2600:000000:0014 #ERT2 (3E)
A: 2600::0028 2600:000000:0028 #ERT HD (3E)

then oscam will decode these channels by your softcam key

Better use this:
Code:
A: ::000A:0104 2600:000000:1FFF # ERT 1
A: ::0014:0100 2600:000000:1FFF # ERT 2
A: ::0028:0102 2600:000000:1FFF # ERT HD

My lines mean: take any caid, with these sid:vpid combinations and convert it to a biss caid, with provid 000000 and ecmpid 1FFF.

Code:
[B]Emu r763 - BISS enhancements part 3[/B]

- [added] Support for date-coded keys in namespace hash, universal hash and "All Feeds" search methods.
- [added] Option in the webif to enable/disable date-coded keys.
- [added] New search method based on tsid and onid combination for matching all channels in a transponder.

Refer to the wiki page for detail information on how to use the new features.

Thanks to campag5242 for his ideas and help!

A few words about date-coded keys...

The feature is disabled by default and you can enable it from the webif, in the Emu reader settings. The date-coded keys are used in the namespace hash, universal hash and the "all feeds" key.

The old "00" and "01" keys are automatically converted to the "00000000" never expiring key.

The expiration date format is YYMMDDhh, meaning Year, Month, Day, hour. For example:

Code:
F 6D70CB7E 00000000 5CXXXXXXXXXXXXD9 ;
F 69CC3021 17121310 59XXXXXXXXXXXX76 ;
F A11FEED5 17120701 CCXXXXXXXXXXXXB9 ;

The first key will never expire. The second key expires at December 13, 2017, at 10:00 local time. The third has already expired. This is true when the date-coded keys are enabled in the webif. If they are disabled, all keys will be served normally, as before.

It is advised using an ntp server for getting the time in your box, instead of transponder time.

A few words about the new tsid, onid combination key searching method.

This method is useful when a transponder contains many BISS channels that all use the same key. Such an example are the BBC channels at 27.5W, the BeOut Q sports at 26.0E and the Greek channels at 3.0E.

Instead of having one key line for each channel, you can now have only one line. For example, all Greek channels (3 transponders - 9 channels in total) can be served with these 3 lines only:

Code:
F 0002212C 00000000 A1XXXXXXXXXXXXB1 ; ERT Mux     (12734 V)
F 0064212C 00000000 11XXXXXXXXXXXX33 ; Digea Mux 1 (12702 H)
F 0066212C 00000000 11XXXXXXXXXXXX33 ; Digea Mux 2 (12720 H)

This feature is only enabled if the tsid and onid have some meaningful values like the onid being 212C in this example.

What do you mean? What kind of improvement?
Hi,
As I understand the "better BISS" was originally developed by campag5242 in order to avoid problems when various PID's used for feeds are the same.
Maybe I am wrong but I thought the same was valid for PowerVU "idents".

But for the biss channels, in addition to changing oscam emu r763, do you have to change the format in the softcamkey?

Hi - you do not have to change the format: any F-lines using key names '00' or '01' will be loaded & used, but when you look in the emu reader's list of entitlements, you'll see them listed there as '00000000'. So you can carry on using it as before.

Should you enable date-coded key names, you can use a mixture of:
00, 01, 00000000 - all these are evergreen ie never expiring, and
YYMMDDhh - date/time of expiry.

I am still using the old BISS format (without hash) but I am going to move to the new one over Christmas time.
Now point is how to generate the hash values fore each BISS entry in softcam.key? Do I need to add them manually? Can they be generated automatically? If so, how? Or do I simply need to download the most recent softcam.key file from the internet?

If those old entries in your softcam.key have been working well for you, then there's no need to change them. Some long-term feeds have distinctive enough SIDs and PIDs that you can choose a sid.pid identifier which is sufficiently unique that the right key is found reliably for that channel alone, and not found falsely for others.

For most normal feeds that sid.pid method is not very good - the new system is much better at uniquely identifying the channel/required key.

I'm not aware of a downloadable SoftCam.Key using anything other than the terrible choice of sid.1FFF as the identifier everywhere (conflicts galore), so you'll have to make your own.

Whilst moving to the new system, you can look in the live-log for the feed/channel's identifier: as it searches for biss keys, oscam-emu will print "key not found" messages for all possible channel matches. In order to to see these message, you must comment out, or remove, any old entry for that channel (& refresh entitlements to purge them from memory too).

The first printed of these are the stronger matches, the hashes, and they are printed in duplicate with full annotation & a suggested expiry time-stamp. The weaker pid matching identifiers are printed out below. The tsid.onid transponder match is not printed, but you can look those up for suitable muxes.

The example expiry time-stamp is one good for most short-term feeds, 4 hours forwards. For a long-term feed you should ammend that eg it's looking like the key (& feed transponder) for the Darts World Championships will be unchanged for the whole tournament, so I have that set as midnight on the day the tournament ends:

F 6B9875F8 18010200 A2xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ; 10.0E 11500V 7200 PDC Darts World Champs

In that last post I omitted to state the motivation for including the date-coded feature added by nautilus7.

For those who are simply consuming biss keys, it does not really matter whether you have no key, or a bad key -> same result, black picture.

But for those actively searching for the key for a new feed, it's absolutely necessary that no old, wrong key is injected into the descrambler. Only then is it possible to record raw scrambled video for brute force / c8 analysis. Having the keys automatically expire by this scheme means that you don't mess around turning off oscam or deleting the key by hand prior to recording - you can more or less assume that there'll be no key injected.

I have been using this method for the past few months since it was suggested by campag5242 and then implemented in the oscam releases. Much credit to campag5242

But when testing the latest oscam releases with PU updates I noticed that the improved Biss handling process no longer works.

Great to hear you've found the updated biss emu useful.

I don't use PVU, so cannot immediately check, but I cannot imagine there is some interaction biss <-> PVU code. @nautilus7 uses both, so surely would have noticed any issues after implementing the PVU updates.

If you haven't already done so, I'd double check your emu reader config.

If I put back an old oscam version - say r11392 - biss works as per your development ideas. Exactly the same reader configuration as I use when testing the latest PU versions.

Thank you very much for all your efforts regarding oscam development.
