Inline Sat Signal Amps

Hi all,

Just upgraded my dish to a 90cm from 80cm. Changed to an Inverto black ultra LNB. Results so far impressive. Have a clear view of 42E to 30W. Been up the ladders 'tweaking' a few times and the alignment seems good.

Question is do inline signal amps improve marginal signals for quality, or are they a waste of money? In my way of thinking, if the signal isn't good enough, and all your cables are good, you are not going to see improvement?

Feedback appreciated, if you are using one, and they work, what would you recommend?

Thanks in advance.

Inline signal amps are not recommended as they amplify the background noise & block out some Ku band frequencies to get more signal than you have with your 90cm the best route is a 100 to 120cm dish.
