Really Hd picture on Samsung LCD, really picture SD.
Admission of free broadcasting stations OK, encoded, with SmartCard darkness.
A little bit awkwardly programs shift with FB, but, otherwise, OK.

Sipper I have bought directly 2 receiver, one for me and one for my brother in law. He had connected the HDMI to his HDMI TV, no problem, its working. We both have used USB for recording on external Hard Disk, it is although working. Please state your software version, i will look on mine.
I bought this receiver from maplin £103.99, they also gave me free screw driver and 2009 maplin cataloguue worth £5.00.
The picture of SL100 HD is excellent on my 720p HD TV. The menu is user friendly. I like the set, and it is much cheaper than some other models in the market which cost you twice or three times the price of the SL100 HD.
I recommend it.

Hi guys new to this site.
I have the same receiver bought from Maplins this week, came with dish and cables.
Set up ok but only through scart and component.
No HDMI or usb.
Anybody solved the problem through software upgrade and if so can it be done through the satellite as it would appear the usb doesn't work.
