CT 5000 HD Combo Plus died

Load software with null cable.

Same thing happened to me, send email to this company in Germany they can repair it.

dont give up! I am sure that you can fix it. As long as there are any letters on the display of the receiver it is NOT dead!

1. no electric power on the receiver
2. start "ctech uploader"
3. select "boot_HTM8000_7109.stb" -> http://uploaded.to/file/vy6dvu OR google for "boot_HTM8000_7109.rar"
4. select com port
5. press "connect"
6. power on the clarki
7. when uploader is finish shut down clarki -> no electric power!
8. select latest clarke firmware -> without "p"!!
9. select com port
10. press "connect"
11. power on the clarki
12. wait!
13. clake is back again

-As of F16 back to the CT Firmware:

-You need those Eraser to upload to return the originals. This you must first import (works with USB)!

-Then you can import the Firmware Clarke Tech:
-Receiver off via power switch
-RS232 cable to receiver and PC
-Start Uptool
-Select the firmware in the selection window of the tool of CT

-Press-Connect

-Turn receiver power switch on again

-Upload to the receiver starts -> takes a while

-Then, the receiver reboots and it should work again

yes, success at last...

I've got the same problem i've try this solution my software stay in "connect your receiver and turn it on" when i push the front bouton nothing happening...

do you have any idear...?

try like this way:
1.) Turn off the CT on master switch!
2.) choose Software and press connect!
3.) Turn on the Receiver with the master switch, too...
4.) Download should start.

Use RS-232...

First try to install Firmware new, if it doesn´t run, use the downgrade Tool, from our DB!
Important: Use the right one, for "p" or for original Firmware!!

i've try but when i do this the soft goes from:
- connect your receiver and turn it on" with the bouton on "cancel"
to - connect your receiver and turn it on" with the bouton on "exit"
and if i push the front bouton (start) on the CT nothing append the ct stay in loader and the blue light don't shine...

any other idear?

try like this way:

more informations:

- I've test 3 différent cables, build one, and test 3 différents PC...
- if i go on the CT uploader on channels part to do an upload the soft see that this the version 2.04 ( I think the cable is OK...)
but i'm not able to connect download...

Ctech 5000 C+ never died

1 - Turn off your receiver (button behind) or unpluged your receiver (no electrecity).

2 - lunch ctechupP and choose your file 208p or 180p.

3 - Choose your correct port # : Com1, com2, .....

4 - Click connect

5 - turn on your receiver (button behind) or plug your receiver.

normally, you must press nothing, only the master switch on the back of the CT!

You could try to get into the Bootmenü by pressing the combination while the Receiver boots...

same result...

Is it possible that's the loader is died and so i'm not able to connect?

Is there some soft to force the download? cause in the factory CT should program without connection...

Maybe power supply has died.

I will see i try to contact CT after sales departement...

For the moment when i send them an email they answer very quickly...
