Hi Phipoo.
1. You will need a build environment eg linux PC, bash in win64, or better still for your arm-based Solo 4k, a Raspberry Pi (no cross-compilation toolchain required). Then you can follow the guides at http://www.streamboard.tv/oscam/wiki/BuildingOscam

3. No idea, what advantages does that have?
