Who can tell me what the use of the HDMI IN is?

I linked another STB to HDMI IN of DM900 UHD ,but DM900 can't play the video from it,then what is the use of its HDMI IN?

Think its just a pass through hooking up another hdmi source to play through the 900 on same output.

I had asked it before, its for another hdmi source. Not all image support it

It seems not to fit OpenPLi 4.0,but thank you all the same!Maybe it's because I don't know how to install the .deb file under OpenPLi 4.0.

If it is so,DM900 UHD will be more useful,such as an HD video recorder.
