Hi there,

I hope someone can offer me assistance.

I live in Belfast, and recently purchased an Amiko HD8140 set-top box, in order to continue receiving RTE/Saorview transmissions, and Freeview HD/DVB-T2 output in the UK.

Unfortunately, I appear to be having some problems with the 'Info' and 'EPG' functions. On the majority of channels, what appears on screen is a string of alphanumeric characters that make no sense.

I am also experiencing an intermittent reception problem. The Amiko display's 'No Signal' on the screen. The aerial connection and TV concerned have been checked - both are working fine. I also tested the receiver on another TV, taking a feed from the same aerial set-up. RTE/Saorview and Freeview came through with no problems.

Could these issues be related to the firmware installed? If so, could someone explain to me (as simply as possible please), how I can update the firmware on the receiver? Below are the details given in the 'Information' section on the receiver:
