Hello..

i have a 100cm Funke dish with 2 inverto black ultra lnbs.
i live in the north of the Netherlands and i am having some issues with reception.

the dish is set at the 10 east and is giving no issues.
with a multifeed i got the 7 east just beside the 10 lnb.
i can get the normal channels on the 7, but i cant find posted feed on the 7 east.

any suggestions ?

i cant move the 7 lnb anymore towards the 10lnb, because they are already against each other.

or do i need a different setup

pls help :)

A motorised dish with a single Lnb will give you better signals than an off-set Lnb fixed dish set up.

Provided the 100cm motorised system is set correctly you will have no problems with these feeds in the North Netherlands I get these with a 100cm & I am further away from the center of the footprint than you are see coverage maps below.

7 east left map
10 east right map

Feeds do vary but mainly very strong an accurately set up motorised 100cm dish can handle it here no problem.

7 east 12554 H 10000 S2 8PSK 3/4 Chelsea v Dynamo Kyiv (Biss) 80% signal Quality,
Fox Sport Europe 12556 V 4035 87% Signal Quality (Biss)

10 east
11003 V 2100 service 1 feed 94% SQ
11007 V 2963 KTV 90% SQ
11176 H 2220 Ant 1 84% SQ
11689 H 10000 S2 HD Olympique Lyonnais v Zenit St P 68% SQ (Biss)

Don't forget you are aiming at a satellite the size of a small caravan 42,164 km away so a couple of mm out with your set up = no signal.

Thanks a lot, but I don´t agree with you in one thing. I have a 120 cm dish and all the normal channels catched in 10 est, with more than 80% of siganl, but in the case of the frecuences of the feeds I don`t understand why I don´t catched none.
I have a a vu+ duo2.
Thanks

You need to get a decent feed hunting receiver like a TM5502HD with an accurate Blind Scan.

Or change the image on your Vu for one that supports this,

I do not understand why you do not agree with me ??

You are nearer to the center of the footprint with a larger dish it would seem obvious that you have not got the Lnb to 7 east set up correctly,

I hope this helps you,

I set up an 88cm dish the other day for 19.2E + 13E + 7 E & I got most of the feeds on 7 east :thum:

Have you finally find any solution for these feeds weak signals?

If you get the signal, what size of dish do you have?
I have 1.8m MABO plus a lnb inverto black ultra but cannot receive any feed on 7 east in Greece the last year... Although a few years ago it was a lot easier.

Plz help with the size needed!Tnx

7E it's more dedicated to Middle East .
10East ( Galaxy ) it's dedicated for all Europe.
Check your signal on BBC packet first, lock the satellite, then try weak transponders. Cheers!

I check again and again my signal but no result.

So please let me know the size of the dish needed (for those who do receive the signal)

if you are in Spain minimum you will need 1,20 and up , friend of mine is in Portugal and he uses 125 up to 180 for KU

You should'nt even need 1.8M Dish
Beam is centered much closer to you than it is for me ,lol's
and i can lock All active channels on 10E And 7 East with only 88cm dish .

Use this excellent guide by Feedhunter William-1
