I have an Intel Core i5-4570 CPU @ 3.20 GHz, 8 GB RAM, NVIDIA Ge Force GT 610,

It,s Ok?

I don't know as I went straight for an i7 with 16GB ram. Maybe another member can answer this?

All I can tell you is the TBS5922SE CAN receive 4:2:2 feeds.

Good luck :thum:

I have 5 years old Quad core 3ghz and i`m doing fine.
It´s all about interface setup in vlc...
I can use "bob" but no way I can use any better...
Well anyways. Its more like to have a better processor for better picture quality.
I´ll say an I5 or better would be great!

And basicly you can use any Enigma2 box for streaming 4:2:2 to your homenet Pc with Vlc...
My Vu ultimo can receive 4:2:2 feeds as well, but if you watch it from tv it´s just black screen with audio...

I'm sure OK, try this 4:2:2 file TATA.ts (30.2 MB) http://rghost.net/84L9czTlk stream ~18Mbaud. I recommend MPC-HC player (x64 for Windows_x64). If you get 50fps your PC ready. I wrote this file with SAT-card OMICOM S2 PCI in cracked DVBViewer 4.9
One core AthlonII 3200+ AM2 not enough for h264 4:2:2 1080p or i.
But I have bought three core AthlonII X3 460 AM3 and insert it in my old AM2 mainboard. CPU load is 50% for each core maximum.
PS. I have 2 or 3 GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 and WindowsXP, but it is not important for software decoding by CPU.

You can find 4:2:2 sample here: hxxp://kodi.wiki/view/Samples

Code:
MPEG2 4:2:2@High 1080i/29.970 35Mbps (C-Band satellite capture in TS w/DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio, converted from E-AC3) (most media players can't play this; Sigma SoC-based media players and Intel i3+ NUC's/HTPC's can)

Does Amazon FireTV 4K UHD Box (2nd edition) or Raspberry Pi support 4:2:2?
Anyone tested?

I can confirm that FTA/4:2:2 Stream or ts.recording are working on Android Amazon FireTV 4K UHD Box.

I have to mention the great support from user @el samak who provided me a recording.

Any receiver can record 4:2:2 chroma, and stream it.(given the receiver can record and stream)

Think you haven't realized the question.
E.g. my E2 receiver can record 4:2:2 but cannot display picture.
The question was, does a Android Box display the 4:2:2 stream/recording correctly. Answer is yes.
