AMC extends KHL rights

AMC Networks has extended a rights agreement with the Continental Hockey League (KHL).
As a result, reports Parabola, viewers in Slovakia will be offered continued coverage of the league on the channels Sport1 and Sport2, with the former showing 56 and latter 65 games in the upcoming season.
Most games played by the Slovak team HC Slovan Bratislava, starting today (August 23) away to SKA St Petersburg, will be shown on Sport1.
Evzen Chlanda, country manager of AMC International – Central and Northerm Europe, said all games will be broadcast live and in HD.
