I am thinking about possibly painting my new dish as it is a bit larger than my current one and might be more visible from the street.

I have seen posts over the years about painting dishes, so what type of paint is reccomended?

Obviously paint for metal, but is there a brand or type that is best?

I am thinking about painting it green as at first look, it might pass for a bush. :D

MAKE SURE IS NON-LEAD Based Paint .
My 2 meter prime Focus Dish got painted Brilliant White on the front and dark navy blue on the back side 5 years ago and only a small part of the back of the dish requires a touch up some of these days when i have time .

Most are Aluminium dishes ... but Smoothrite is quite expensive , has changed formula and I find it runs away from corners/edges too much .

Keep an eye out for non-lead based paint in Aldi - choice of green, white, black, and it covers well & goes off hard, best of all its only £5 a litre there was plenty in stock last week at my local Aldi :D

this work needs a spray of electrostatic paint.
he wants a little searching in the market because he is a specialized product
It is much better than any metallic color
make a googling and you will definitely find something
It also does for aluminum and iron dishes
