Discussion about Scam Emu's

Scam + Vi*sat org.card

Hi all

Can't get scam to clear the Channels on 5°east with my org. card + smargo USB reader. Works fine with CCcam, but need Scam to clear other channels.

added thise lines in the config file

/sc/serial/usb0/device=/dev/ttyUSB0
/sc/serial/usb0/type=smartreader+

The "sc_videoguard" file reads:

* I: { AAAA BBBBBBBB { CCCCCCCC }}
*
* IRD serial number
* A = CA System ID
* B = Card Serial
* C = IRD Serial

A= 090F
B= ????????
C= ????????

Where to but in Box Id?

Calling all Scam experts

I have two questions:

Is there a Scam command-line option (or any other way) to enable logging?

Does Scam have an equivalent of ignore/priority/replace list? I am trying to prevent selected ecms from being sent to a NewCS server.

Well, I found the answer about logging - enter "?" (without quotes) at the end of the command line to enable console logging.

I'm still curious to know whether it is possible to ignore ecm's.

WIll never come! scam is a dreambox-emu for ppc and mipsel. There is no chance for a sh4-version!

No. there is only a mips-version available, running only on DM 7025, DM 800 and DM 8000

in dm800 put config file in /var/scam
