pasword prob on ariva 120

hi..guys you ever see an Ariva 120 locked by password..so you can't get into the menu's...?

ive come across an old ariva 120-..but its paasword locked...and would like to try it out.....
it does function for the channels already listed...a few FTA channels..but there should be more..but cant add them..cos even for this it asks for pasword i dont have.and when i insert usb stick it asks for password..
i have tried the ususal 0000 and 1234....and loads others...but can i over ride pasword.. or kill this password...even if it means opening the box...?

ok..so u say that the same procedure as for the ASH problem is what i need to do to get passed the paassword problem..even though the box is working...????
just want to make sure i understand you...before trying it....brianne
