Default Dreambox owners: Who wants to test DVB-CISSA descrambling?

Hi, I am working on BISS2 for oscam-emu: https://github.com/oscam-emu/oscam-p...dvbcissa-biss2
The bISS2 part is complete, and I am now working on implementing DVB-CISSA.

For those who don't know, BISS2 is not based on the widely used DVB-CSA algorithm to scramble audio and video but the newer DVB-CISSA. DVB-CISSA is in fact AES-128 in CBC mode with a specific and constant IV. This is good news, because most set-top-boxes out there already support AES-128 in their hardware (like recent SoC's from Broadcom).

The STB manufacturers only need to add support for AES-128 in their drivers (if they don't have already) and also support the new API used in oscam-emu for sending AES keys and IVs in the CA descrambler. Newer Dreambox models (DM920, DM900, DM820, DM7080, DM520, DM525, and maybe more...) already have support for that, so owners of these boxes can test right away!

For testing purposes, I've created a BISS2 mode 1 (caid 0x2602), DVB-CISSA scrambled TS file using the tsduck application. In order to test if my code works, you can do the following:

1. Download and install the test oscam-emu binary: arm or mipsel
2. Download the DVB-CISSA scrambled test ts file.
3. Add this key in your SoftCam.Key (to be sure the correct key is used, put it on the bottom of the SoftCam.Key file):
Code:
F 00010020 00000000 00112233445566778899AABBCCDDEEFF ; BISS2 test key
4. Play the TS file in your enigma2 box.

If you get picture, then we are on a the right path. If not, there is some tweaking that needs to be done. I also need logs, regardless of the result. Please report like this:

Quote:
receiver: "your receiver model"
working: "yes/no/partially (explain)"
log (with debug level 128):
Code:
your log goes here
Finally, make sure you have correctly configured oscam-emu. Nothing special is needed. Just make sure dvbapi is enabled, "extended_cw_api" is set to "1" and the emu reader is used for BISS2 (you should see caid 0x2602 in the reader's supported caids).

Yes, you rename the binary to whatever name has your current oscam binary.

In the directory you saved in the test .ts file there should be a .m e t a file (with the same name as the .ts file). Can you open it with a text editor and post its content?

I was trying on my DM525HD, but it looks that media player does not use oscam to play recording. Even with BISS1 - nothing in oscam logs. Or maybe I do something wrong?
I got .m e t a file for BISS (Ukraina SD):
Code:
1:0:1:1E69:2C:55:320000:0:0:0:
instant record

1553374243

2947085
16748544
f:0,c:001eab,c:031eab,c:100000,c:111eac
but for your BISS2 file it was not created

yes i think media player just plays what was decoded, if its encrypted it wont play anything if it wasnt decrypted on recording.

Maybe it needs trying on a b*ss 2 feed with the correct key?

Change the 0 to 1, so that enigma2 knows the file is scrambled. I thought that having a caid was enough, but apparently enigma2 needs this as well.

Just play the file first, and then it will be created. Then open it and change the last 0 to 1, so that enigma2 knows it is scrambled.

No it says "key found" at the bottom, but the key is not the correct one... It must be catching another key from your softcam.key file.

Please use this key instead:

Code:
F ED65DCC6 00000000 00112233445566778899AABBCCDDEEFF ; BISS2 test key
