RSCC accused of antitrust behaviour
February 14, 2017 11.16 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul
Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has accused the Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC) of violating antitrust laws.
According to ComNews, the RSCC chose to establish its own tariffs when distributing must-carry national TV and radio services rather than referring them to FAS.
The latter examined RSCC’s activities in the period 2013-16 and has already issued it with an order to eliminate the violations during a “transition period”.
RSCC now comes under the Federal Agency of Communications (Rossvyaz), which is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Communications (Minsvyaz).
