HD+ Astra in UK Help

Bought a HD+ Astra card a while back only to realise it wont work in my receiver as its a new HD03 version.

If I buy an expired HD01 or HD02 card on eBay, will this work on an openbox? Can you top this up on the official HD+ site or would I need to go through an eBay seller as I live in the UK?

Hi Duke,

HD03/HD04 cards using the CAK7 algorithm, there only working in a few selected box with DOSCAM <- closed source OSCAM clone.
HD01/HD02 running fine with the most softcams.

I would go for a HD02, as I heard they plan to switch of the HD01 in the near future.

You can top up the cards via the HD site but you need a German IP, this is because HD+ is limited to Germany.

But I think it is worth to try a VPN with a German IP an make the payment via PayPal, or if you like, I would help you.

Thanks for the info, I don't have oscam. Can I use the HD02 in cccam smartcard.config?

Where do I find the provid, boxkey and mod?

Hey bud, is it possible to run the card in cccam or does it need to be oscam? I have a hd02 card and topped up for a month to test this.
