Winclip 2.8.7

- Fix some scan issue and increase the scan speed

Winclip 2.8.9

- add winlirc support. No really tested. i don't have com port on my main PC..
- add tool for tune frequence and set timeout scan (setting->configuration->scan->tune & timeout).
- add streamreader support. Very first integration. No idea if run with many kind of streamreader.dll. Thanks to JoshyFun for help, test and advice.
- Add italian language. Thanks to scaistar for this translation.
- Other little things.

Since few weeks, i was very busy on other things.
So no big modification or new feature but some little fixes.

- Fix 4/3 - 16/9 auto detection
- fix record channel when name content ?,*,<>...
- Add new AC3 tag detection

- fix a loadlibrairy VC6->2005 (load cfgstreamreader issue)

- fix mpeg2 HD display (the image was frozen or missing for few ms)

- finally, winclip the player is able to play a file ;o). i integred the great Haali media splitter for do this and remove all my previous work around this. So if this filter is not installed, impossible to play a file.
- fix skin all-in-one if installed on other drive that c:
- fix crash on channel number change
- channel list : if more than 5 sats -> creation of sat list in alphabetic order
- Add sat function. if sats have same name. the sat name will be "name (x)" (only usefull in few cases)
- drop file enable (player/video/winclip icon)
- fix scroll position in channel list + add up and down buttons.
- Add mini search function in all channel list skins

Limitation SS1 in hardware mode:

- no subtitle
- no video zoom
- can't change the volume by using the wheel on the video window in full screen
- Issu when start on second API that use/initialise DirectShow (media player for exemple) and mode Overlay (or AUTO) selected in hardware dd. -> no video. Seems a problem with the TT driver.

Limitation SS1 sotfware mode
- no radio

General Limitation with the SS1 but can be fixe :
- No AC3 audio
- no 16/9 and 4/3 auto detection.
- Can't record the radio.

I have a problem too with the diseqc. Don't know if it's the same with all the SS1. Sometime, it's work perfect during one hours, i can switch sat without any problem, and suddenly impossible to switch the LNB. i tried with different other dvbapp and have the same problem. So i don't know.

- Add DVB-C (under BDA). Big thanks to md for push me to integrat it and for all tests he did !
You can find a sample - provide by him - of ini file definition for the cable in \WinClip\transponders\4000.ini
Tested with a technotrend dvb-c 1500
- Option directory record (setting -> option)
- possibility to select the directory plugin -> press and keep SHIFT on keyboard and start winclip
- Shorcut in channel list to favori/list of sat
- Remove Class CPannelChannelList (take time to initialize, take memory, and...useless....)
- Spash windows on start
- resize channel list in X is not possible (put it in mini list for do it with the skin Media)
- Sort channel list by transponder (search function in this mood -> search a transponder)
- new scan transponder available from the channel list.
- delete useless option in popup menu
- installation of WinClip is now possible anywhere
- use info "S2" from transponder ini file
- add haali renderer. Request and (good) idea from Md. But seems problem when video card support mpg4 hardware and seems not run under Vista. (Run ok with core avc)
- add diseqc with Neotion. (tested with skypilot, NB1000S double head and NB3000 4 Ports)

* Pid audio switch -> click on = change audio pid
* Signal quality - strenght / CPU -> click on = change to quality or CPU or strenght signal
* Egp info -> move mouse on the channel list and will see the current program epg (title)

- fix epg info when sid are egal on different sat
- fix HD 16/9 and 4/3 detection

More details :

- Shorcut in channel list to favori/list of sat

For play with it , select in the channel list menu, the "favori/sat shortcut def"

- Possibility to select the directory plugin
if you use differents configurations plugins, you can select the running directory. For this, press SHIFT and keep it pressed and start WinClip.

- installation of WinClip is now possible anywhere
if you want to update WinClip, you need to select the previous directory. Or you can copy the files channelList.bin and config.ini in the new directory.
I saw one case of trouble when copy old channel list in this new version. But can't reproduce it for fix it. So in this case, you will need to create a new configuration (and new scan). Sorry about that.

- fix crash in a special case when ask EPG pannel.

How it works :

first of all, before play with it, go to the setting menu->audio/video->PiP direct show page and select codec and VMR.
And - off course - only channels on a same transponder can be "piped".

You can add a PiP by
- Click on the PiP button. In this case a PiP will be created and the channel will be the first channel found on the transpondeur
- Click under the PiP button for get the popup menu and select your channel
- Click right on the channel list on a channel from the same transponder and you will find a "Add to new PiP"

If you click Right on the PiP windows, you will get this popup menu for change the channel, start record,...:

i you diseable the "attached to the video Wnd" option, you can place the wnd where you want

If you want to add some pluggins to the PiP process, same punition like other dvb application, copy plugins in each directory :
[plugins directory]\Pips\Pi1\...Pip2\.. 5 pips directories are created with the installation, but you can add more, there is no limitation (except your CPU)

- For increase, decrease the windows size , click right mouse + wheel
- Double click on a PiP wnd, will put it in the main video windows.

And don't forget that all this work under directShow, so easy to crash, deadlock.... 4 beta-tester test this 3.0.0. 3 have no problem, and 1 get the application frozen sometime when he double click on a PiP Wnd for put in the main screen :-( i'm still looking why.
You can PiP too some H.264 channel, but try only this if you have a nice CPU and a good video card...
You can PiP too several time the same channel. Totaly useless, except that before created a new PiP, you can change the Video codec and VMR (in menu setting), and make some comparison like this.
