If you have some tips I would like to try them on my DM8000.
I tried latest nfi image from Dec 30.

Up to now:
I tried several times using webbrowser firmware update, dreamup 1.3.3.12 and Optiflasher.
None of them got me to the select output screen (screen always blank - I used DVI-HDMI cable)

All attempts end up in loader bar freezing mid way approx at letter M (dreaMbox) or continuous gui soft reboot like.
I do have telnet connectivity. OPKG update / update packages does not find server and there is a message about "missing index"

My question was in regards rudream-5-dm8000 image.

I have original PSU and my box is working fine with OpenPli 4.0 and older Enigma 3.0 / 1.6 images.

I use turbofec USB tuner gp8psk driver / vtuner, box always finish loading the image. Original tuner is not used at all.

My box is 5 yo ferrari box with updated a8p card.

If you thing is just a local problem I will keep trying,

Here is a snapshot after running init4 followed by enigma2

DM8000 does not have 12V output for driving external polariser (C band)

Well NOW it is not available.

Better say it was available sometime in the past.

I'm not confused believe me ....
I had just couple of glasses of wine last night...
there were references and discussions about this 3 years ago -
Chinese suppliers had a beta version....etc. Unless was original
at discounted price

But works so well.. never had any issue.
The ferrari card is bagged sitting inside the box beside the internal
USB port still ( i can still see the green -not red- sticker with little
card on it through air vents)

Image from mid Jan working fine on both 8000 and 800se
However I did not see major changes to my taste.

I am PLi fan and will wait for OpenPLi-5.0 to arrive

That was my question - if anybody actually tried it and got it working or encounter same errors
