Is this the original vuduo?

If yes, do you also have a red light showing on the display?

A capacitor has failed.

It can be repaired if you have a soldering iron.

Do a search for vuduo redlight problem.

It is well documented.
I had to do mine and it has been working fine since except for when another capacitor went which affected HD reception.

It is quite an easy fix if you can use a soldering iron.

Capacitor C807 (on motherboard) 220uF 16v should be replaced by a new 330uF 16v

Capacitor, not a resistor.

They are all numbered on the board.

Make sure you take note of which side the positive and negative legs should go.
