email notification is not working for gmail. Is it disabled by design?

hvae you checked your spam folder, sometimes it can go in there

I got one this time but it didn't work for this thread. Maybe administrative posts/edits do not trigger notifications. Please fix that if possible.

go to: User CP / Edit options / Default Thread Subscription Mode

(default is NO Email Notification)

you can change it

than click: OK
