here are some satellites I can and can't get with a 90cm steel Triax dish from Sweden north of Stockholm.
hopefully this helps someone. This is my first forum post!
I chose the ones on the east side especially.
The list is not up to date.
Some of the Russian ones use L and R polarization but the signal is sometimes so strong that with a normal LNB it works (use H pol.)
can't get:
28°E Astra 2 the transponders with BBC: not a chance :-(
12207 V 27500 weak signal astra 1N?
can get:
28°E Eurobird 11222 H 27500 ok
11260 V 27500 finetune
11662 H 27500 finetune S1 beam
31.5°E Astra 5 11758 H 27500 may have all changed.
11817 V 27500 may have all changed.
36°E Eutelsat 36 B?C? 12304 L=H 27500 this is the new sat.
39°E Hellassat 2 12598 V 14050 tune here? most transp. have both H and V.
12656 H 30000 music FTA: gangsta rap, gipsy, folk.
12688 V 30000 music FTA: gangsta rap, gipsy, folk.
42°E Türksat 11064 V 13000 (lots of FTA in Turkish here)
45°E Europestar 11523 V 5787
46°E Azerspace 11135 V 28800 tune here
11015 H 30000 try Mult FTA
53°E Express AM22 11044 V 44950 tune here WideEurope beam
10957 V 4800 weak signal WideEurope beam Uzbekistan
55°E Yamal 402 11265 V 30000 tune here Russian beam
12604 V 28975 finetune, Northern beam
56°E Express AT1 If you aim at Yamal 402 you get this one gratis.
56°E Express AT1 11804 L=H 27500 strong signal Pity its all encrypted :-(
60°E Intelsat 904 11512 V 2617 not very strong. Spot1 beam.
11157 V 22000 Spot1 beam. difficult to tune.
66°E Intelsat 17 12601 H 2000 Russia beam. Radio.
69.5°E Intelsat 20 12602 H? 26657 EuAfrica beam. LOTS of FTA religious TV.
75°E ABS-2 11044 H 44922 Russia beam. very strong signal.
11605 V 43200 had Karusel FTA.
Mult on Azerspace 46°E was: freq 11015 H 30000, PMT 0x0037, vid 0x0036 aud 0x0035. In 2014.
couldn't find: 33 E, 48 E, 70.5 E.
