Technomate 5402 m3 issue

One of my technomate m3 boxes is having the following issue:

On recording it's freezing, sometimes it will unfreeze but no sound through recording. No issues on live tv, have tried multiple hard drives so no issues with that. The installed phantom patches also

Press MENU and then EXIT
sound should come back

It does but this is hardly a fix, what about when I'm not there and want to watch later so I'm not there to press menu and exit?

Its an issue with the patch.

Here's the fix:
When you go to record a channel set up the recording time on the channel and all should be ok.
