Those are not really expired keys.
Their way to take an IRD off their maintenance is by sending fake/invalid keys,in this way,this IRD can never receive their programming in this trasponder.
They could simply NOT send EMM for this IRD,but looks there are reasons to keep them in the spool,like maybe having a simple way to restore programming.
In any case,it is good for you,since you can grab the EMM key for this IRD,that might be authorized for another service in a different trasponder and/or satellite.
