I never rated BH images as particularly good due to odd niggly faults like system mount problems. However I am currently running BH 3.0.7 and it is the best of the lot.
Try looking into the timer setting and see if it has any repeat recordings listed. You may have a series recording set with odd details causing the problem.
Incidentally, there is an addon available that lets you rearrange the menus if you, like me, you find them messy.
