My actual equipment is Topfield TF5500PVR and motorised Dish 1.30m gregorian with Invacom QDF-031.
Now I go purchase a HD receiver (PVR). Any comment about the advantage of blind scan?
On average how much time does it to make up a complete scan?
Of course it depends of channels number and frequency gap but I do not have any idea. Any information is very useful.

a- no comment

b- 10-20 min. Blind scan will not take much time but what it does it will search for existing freq. in the direction of your Sat. such as Hotbird or any, when there is no freq. exist in your receiver you can blind scan to find the freq. instate of input the freq. manually.
