Hi,
I've recently installed a multytenne dish.
I'm experiencing low signal on some transponder or not at all with a light rain (especially on hd channels).
This seems related to specific transponder. I'd like to log signal statistics of my current setup.. point again the dish.. and make comparison.
I've looked SatHunter but it doesn't take the tuner of my Vu+ so I moved to 'dvbsnoop'
I can get signal info with 'dvbsnoop -s signal -n 1' so it would make sense to write a small shellscript which
loop
zap channel (or better move to the next transponder)
get the signal and write to a file
Anyone already tried that?
I'm not sure how can I write in the file also the current frequency (because that is not in the dvbsnoop output)
Is there perhaps another utility to do this in a easier way?
Cheers
