Hi there I've currently a Dreambox800hd se clone with 90cm dish pointing at astra 19.2E and hotbird 13e with a monoblock
I want to add a further LNB for astra at 28.2E.
my question is.. will the monoblock work ok with the diseqc switch in terms of switching between the three.?
thanks for your time

astra 19° to hotbird 13° is monoblock.
if you like astra 19° and astra 23°, so you need monoblock with .
or you used this LNb for 19° and 13° and keep also a SMALL! LNB(place-problem dish)
you can use LNB from alps.
install look here:

(right side with multiswitch can be also your monblock -without switch-)
greetings

my answer was:
"http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/3236/configcb6.jpg

Right side: this 2 lnb`s can to be also your monoblock
Left side: your Astra 23° or other XX° LNB
in the middle are relais.
that`s my answer. :)
and that`s what you like or need.
greetings

If I were you I would throw away monoblock and replaced it with two separate LNBs. LNBs are very cheap now, something about 5 bucks, and Diseqc cost about 2 bucks. LNB brackets is easy to DIY from galvanized materials like I just made multifeed for 19,2*E-13*E-4,8*E, coasted me about 5 bucks.

P.S. Your last post dated 30.July, perhaps you have already found solution.

Hi mate

The best way is to use one switch DiSEqC 1.0 with one A/B switch
according to the attached image (in French) :

monobloc3emetetewj7.gif

Commutateur = Switch DiSEqC 1.0
Répartiteur = A/B switch
DEMO = Receiver

Some people replace the A/B switch with one coaxial T adapter

Thanks olman and all other members for your reply...i have done exact same like your attached image..its working but the only problem is it takes a while to change from satellite to another one..thanks anyway i think iam gonna get rid of monoblock and replace it with 3 lnb bracket

I have the exactly same configuration,with one difference - LNB for 13 is put on right side for reception from 39E ,I have 80cm offset dish,live in central Bulgaria. I start setup this morning ,and i have a problem with 28.3E , signal for 19 and 23E is very good-70-90%(i using skystar2hd usb) ,signal have been check with progfinder.Signal for 39E is a little bit poor - 40-60 % depend of transponders.On HD transponders on 39E i have not a signal.Which transponder with strongest signal I have to scan on 28.2E.
Thanks

if 28 E is not in center on 80 cm/ 90 cm dish signal will be poor :(
i have on 115cm offset dish - 36E-31E-28E-(23E*)-19E-13E
(*) Center
porrest is 28E is not soffar from center but, the frekvencies it self are very poor on many channels.
but, if you have example on 12560 V _ 28/30% level, will be very strong on raining days.
how far 39E is from dish center?
