Best Way to Record TS Files?

Hello everyone,
we have TBS-6903 and we are recording TS files with DVBDream TS Writer and ProgDVB TS Recorder but there are many times that we end up with bad files that don't have any information for Colibri's Tool to work with.

Also so far we 've found that the same frequency gives good files with ProgDVB but DVBDream doesn't and vice versa. Why is that?

1. Is there any other software we can use to record TS files?
2. Does recording time actually matter?
3. Does timing (when i should start record) matter?

First, you have to set all parameters correctly (as in the pictures) - tab Options/Preferences and all emulators must be disabled (as vPlug, NWemu, PowerVuEmu, ...) .






Second, the recording time of the .ts file is not always the same, depending on the feed's or the provider (ranging from 30 seconds to 5 minutes or more) ;)

Is this something i can identify somehow or just test every time?

i do this so i use dvbdream to record .ts file of feeds (with BISS encr.) and without TSWritter2 a few years back very successfully .
