Default HDMI

curiosity got the better of me with the second HDMI connection on my Ultimo 4k.

So I connected my Pi 3 with Kodi installed and yes it works and makes using the Pi a lot easier, as my Samsung smart TV is totally dumb when it comes to HDMI, getting it to keep the Pi connection is a pain!

But the problem is the picture quality from the Pi through is poor compared to when its connected directly to the TV.

Is that to be expected passing the signal through something, the same thing happened when I passed the signal from my old DM8000 through my home cinema, the picture was dark!
